Joelian Zapata allowed the Bears only 2 hits before reaching his pitch limit with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning as Reading defeated Boyertown, 2-1. Zapata scattered 4 walks while striking out 13. All three runs in the game were unearned as the teams combined to commit 8 errors. Connor Moyer scattered six hits over 6 2/3 innings and also reached base twice and stole 2 bases for the Bears.
