Elliott Schadler’s strong starting pitching helped the Bears defeat Greater Pittston, 10-8, to achieve a split of Sunday's doubleheader. Schadler scattered 5 hits and allowed only 2 earned runs in 5 innings. Matt Smith led the Boyertown attack with 2 hits and 3 runs scored. The Bears were limited to 5 hits (one each by five different players) by three Greater Pittston pitchers in the opener.
