Nathan Fox tossed a 3-hit shutout as the Bears stayed alive in the PA State Tournament with a narrow, 1-0 win over winner’s bracket finale winner Philipsburg. Fox scattered 2 hits and a hit-batsmen while going the distance in the crucial victory. The Bears scored their lone run in the first inning when leadoff hitter Peyton Moyer grounded a single to left field, stole second, and then scored on back-to-back ground outs. With the win, the Bears advance to Game 14 versus Region 4 champion Paxton.
