The Bears scored in each of their half-innings of their third and final pool play game in routing Boonsboro, 14-0. The Bears collected 9 hits (including 3 triples) and 9 walks while stealing 6 bases. Leadoff hitter Derick Basile went 3-for-4, falling a home run short of hitting for the cycle. Meanwhile, Tyler Sharayko and Ethan Martin combined on a 1-hitter, scattering 3 walks and striking out 5.

With the victory, the Bears are winners of Bracket 3 and advance to the four-team Frederick Wooden Bat Tournament playoff. The face Bracket 1 winner and league-rival West Lawn, at 9 AM Monday, June 28 in the semifinals. The other semifinal game features Bracket 2 winner Brooklawn NJ vs Bracket 4 winner Norchester at 11 AM. The championship game will be played at 2 PM.
