The Boyertown American Legion Baseball program would like to share and welcome our new head coach, Mr. Tom Szilli.

Tom is a Bears alumni, playing shortstop in 1986-87-88. The Bears advanced to the American Legion World Series all three years- as the Mid-Atlantic Champions- and brought home the World Series title in 1987 out in Steven’s Point, Wisconsin. In the 1988 State Tournament Tom was awarded Most Valuable Player.

He has been an assistant coach for the Jr Legion Bear Cubs for the last 6 Years, leading them to a State Championship in 2024.

Tom comes with a wealth of knowledge of the game and coaching, and says "I'm thankful for the opportunity, and can't wait to meet with the boys and get to work on the 2026 season."
