The Bears erased a 4-1 deficit with 5 runs in the top of the third inning en route to a 6-4 win over the Reading Groundhogs at George Field. The Bears pieced together 4 singles (2 of them on bunts), a walk, and stolen base to score their 5 runs. Starting pitcher Chase Waibel limited the Groundhogs to 4 hits and 0 earned runs over 6 2/3 innings to earn the victory. Offensively, Joey Schreiner had 2 hits, while Logan Barndt and Ryan Dulude each had a pair of walks.
