The visitors from Region 3’s Main Line League rallied for 4 runs in the top of the seventh inning to defeat the Bears, 8-6, in a non-league legion baseball game on a beautiful Saturday afternoon at Bear Stadium. Jeff Dougherty capped the inning with a bases-loaded, 3-run double for Broomall-Newtown. The Bears had rallied from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game, then take the lead, and also scored an unearned run in the bottom of the seventh. Connor Moyer reached base 4 times in the game, twice on hits, while Randy Wynings reached base three times.
