The Bears won a wild one 11-9 against the Wyomissing Warriors in a non-league contest at Wyomissing Jr/Sr High School. Players and fans endured the high 80s, humidity, and mid-afternoon sun for three hours as the two sides took turns slugging it out - the Bears recorded 13 hits and the Warriors 11. Evan Hetrick started the game on the mound for the Bears, helping himself by going 3-4 at the plate. Brandon Shane reached base safely in all four of his plate appearances, including a fourth-inning solo home run. Darrin Brunner went 3-4 for Wyomissing, falling a home run shy of the cycle. Elijah Calvert earned the win for the Bears, entering in relief of Hetrick. The Warriors committed six errors in the game.
