The Bears dropped a heartbreaker to Twin Valley 4-3 as the Raiders scored two on a throwing error with two out in the bottom of the seventh to end the game in front of a stunned Bear Stadium crowd. Twin Valley was the home team in this second game of a Berks League doubleheader. The Raiders scored a run in each of the first two innings off of Bears starter Zach Rothermel, who retired 13 batters in a row after the early Twin Valley outburst. The Twin Valley pitching duo of Kannon Zdimal and Nolan Cromwell stymied the Bears offense, scattering four hits and one unearned run over six combined innings of work while striking out eight. Down 2-1 entering the top of the seventh, the Bears rallied back to take a 3-2 lead on a Pat McNeill RBI single before the game slipped from their grasp in the bottom of the seventh.
