The Board of Directors of Boyertown Area Youth Baseball Ltd. is pleased to (officially) announce that Ross Smith & Maddi Bowman have been elected as President and Vice President of the Board starting in 2024! Ross “Squiggs” Smith will be returning to the program as President in 2024. Ross has been involved in all of Boyertown Sports, but baseball in particular, for almost 40 years. Previously for the Legion, he has been the equipment manager, PA announcer, statistician, President… you name it! He has also held various positions in the Berks County American Legion Baseball League, and is currently the Athletic Lead at BASH. Maddi Bowman will be moving from her position as Social Media Manager to Vice President in 2024. Maddi has been volunteering for the Bears since 2016, after her friends were asked to help Betty Ellis with the 50/50 raffle. Maddi has since been in charge of the raffle for the last few years, and in 2021 she took over our social media and helped with coordinating ball boys and student volunteers.
